http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS - Designer Alber Elbaz is always known for his simplistic dresses with embellished fabrics that speak volumes in one color, but this time, he tackled sporty separates. The result? FashionTV is happy to report that the collection is just as statement-making as his previous ladylike ones. And still, as Aymeline Valade opens the show with a halo of light beaming down on her, the looks (dresses included) are sharp and elegant at the same time. No one but Elbaz does it better. Sharp shoulders and pencil skirts gave off a strong working woman vibe but later as the separates came into play, we were happy to see his version of the tunic tuxedo vest. The menswearish vibe, even as womanly as he made it, worked no matter what the outfit (dress or cigarette pants.) Dresses were also sexy--a slit here, a transparen...
